Anthropic has introduced Claude 3.7 Sonnet, its most intelligent AI model to date and the first hybrid reasoning model on the market. Claude 3.7 Sonnet can deliver instant answers or perform extended, step-by-step thinking, letting users choose their preferred response style. The model shows significant improvements especially in coding and web application development. Alongside it, Anthropic is launching Claude Code, a tool that lets developers delegate substantial engineering tasks directly from the terminal. Claude 3.7 Sonnet is available across all Claude plans — Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise — as well as through Anthropic's API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud's Vertex AI. Extended thinking mode is available on all platforms except the free version of Claude.
